Not just a rider.
Ruben Lenten — LEN10 — has spent 25 years in kitesurfing as an athlete, creator and partner on projects that helped push big air into the mainstream. This is the short, honest version. The footage tells the rest.
What I'm focused on now.
Brand projects & campaigns
Projects that feel real to the community and valuable for brands, agencies and audiences.
The LEN10 Experience
High-end kite trips with coaching, crew, progression and a proper lifestyle around the sport.
World Kite Club
A new venture building the global home for kitesurfing — more accessible, more connected.
Help the sport grow in a good direction.
More stoke, more respect for the conditions, better safety culture, stronger stories and more opportunities for the people who make the sport what it is.
I love big air, but what matters most is the ripple effect. When someone tells me they started kiting because of something I did, that's the real win.
A few that show the range.

It started with wind.
Ruben didn't start with a plan to build a personal brand. He started with wind. When his parents divorced he was gifted a kite set — and it gave him something to hold onto. He spent his early years powerkiting in Noordwijk, learning how conditions work and getting obsessed with what's possible when you commit to the craft.
In 2001 he entered a rookie contest at the Dutch Nationals and it opened the door to a bigger world — travelling, training, filming, learning to improve with discipline, not just adrenaline. He competed on the PKRA world tour and learned what pressure feels like when delivering is your job.
But the deeper pull was always big air. Storms. Timing. Commitment. Kites were being looped before, but Ruben pushed looping to a new level and helped shape what became the megaloop era — years of trying, crashing and trying again, much of it alongside rival-and-best-friend Aaron Hadlow and cousin Kevin Langeree.
Alongside riding he's always loved building projects — media, events, partnerships and formats that bring the sport to more people. Done right, it doesn't feel like marketing. It feels like culture.
These days he still loves a proper session, but cares even more about what kitesurfing gives people: confidence, friendships, travel, health, perspective. For a lot of riders it's not a hobby — it's a reset button.
The hard chapters shaped the work.
Not for drama — only because they shaped how Ruben works, leads and looks at life.
